Donald & Caitlin – Engagement Session | Bellingham Engagement Photographer

I am so excited for these two!  I’ve known Donald since high school and Caitlin is our neighbor as well as a wonderful photographer and graphic designer for Alice Joy Events.  I couldn’t be more excited for their upcoming wedding—it is bound to absolutely stunning and so much fun!

Ben & Melissa – Engagement Session | Ferndale Engagement Photographer

What a beautiful day it was when I got to photograph this absolutely adorable couple from Oregon for their engagement session.  We started early in the day when it was quite cold but Melissa rocked her skirt and didn’t complain an ounce!  I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding—they are so naturally fantastic in front of the camera!

Super Sneak Peak & A Little Business

Saturday I had the best time playing in the sunshine with two awesome couples!  I couldn’t wait to show some images from their sessions but they will each receive their own post in a bit.  I can not wait for each of these weddings!!

Preston – Newborn Session | Lynden Newborn Photographer

This little boy surprised everyone when he decided to come into this world six weeks early.  We’re glad he’s here though—the world is a better place with this little one in town.  He’s the littlest, sweetest, best behaved little fella around!  We had a great time documenting this exciting time in his life now that he is finally home and out of the hospital.

Crews & Wright Families | Blaine Family Photographer

I remember when I was little and it would rain I would grab an umbrella and boots and head out into the driveway for a “rain walk.”  I would sing, splash in puddles and wonder all around playing in the rain.  I’m quite certain my parents probably thought I was a little crazy!  Things have changed a bit—though I still like playing in the rain, I can’t say I spend too much time singing in it! 

This Saturday I got to play in the rain with two great families!  We had such a great time despite the cold!  I opted to forgo an umbrella and just covered my camera in a plastic bag as we played on the beach and in the trees.  I can’t get over how adorable all of these cousins are—from Connor’s six month old sweetness to Grady’s awesome hair to Bayley and Carter’s amazing brown eyes!  Not only that but the parents and grandparents were all such beautiful people inside and out!  I could photograph these families all day long every day of the year it if weren’t for the rainy, rainy pacific northwest weather.

Thanks so much for braving the weather with me!  I’m looking forward to playing on the beach in the summer!
